Stella Capital and Spiltan Invest back Qvalia in investment round

Qvalia announces a EUR 4 million investment led by Stella Capital, alongside existing partner Spiltan Invest, to support the accelerating growth of its platform for business transactions.

The investment will be allocated for market expansion and developing Qvalia’s platform, which enables users to exchange electronic business messages like e-invoices and e-orders, automate financial processes, and analyze sales and purchase data.

“There is momentum in the market with the emerging open Peppol network and Qvalia is perfectly positioned to become the global leader with its technology, know-how, and founder-driven culture. Qvalia offers a one-in-a-kind solution, making B2B transactions smarter and more accessible.

Alf Thiel Metelius, Partner at Stella Capital

Publicly launched in 2021, Qvalia’s platform has achieved notable traction with business users across 30 countries to date.

The company’s origins in transaction analysis and recovery audit led to its position as the Nordic market leader, culminating in selling its consulting division to Ryan LLC in 2021. This allowed Qvalia to pivot into a software-as-a-service (SaaS) company.

Qvalia’s vision of how businesses will manage procurement and sales transactions is being realized at an ever-faster pace, and the company’s development has impressed. As a long-term partner, it is a pleasure to welcome Stella Capital.

Håkan Sjunnesson, Investment Manager at Spiltan Invest and Chairman of Qvalia

Henri Taipale, Founder and CEO of Qvalia, comments:

“We are delighted to welcome Stella Capital as new shareholders and appreciate the long-term support given by Spiltan Invest. The investment provides flexibility and enables us to continue executing our plan”.
