Yes. A Peppol BIS or PINT document can be transformed into another electronic invoice format when the receiving system requires it.
Conversion can lose or change business meaning if the target format does not support the same fields, code lists or rules. The mapping should therefore be documented, tested and validated against the target specification. Any mandatory information missing from the source must be handled explicitly rather than invented.
Downloading sent invoices in another format with Qvalia
Qvalia stores every document as Peppol BIS Billing 3.0. Through the Transaction API, you can download an invoice or credit note you have sent in another format:
The downloaded document must meet the target format’s own rules. An XRechnung, for example, requires a Leitweg-ID (BT-10). Downloads cover documents you have sent yourself. Details are in the API documentation.
