Peppol PINT JP (JP PINT) is Japan’s specialization of the Peppol International (PINT) invoice specification — a UBL 2.1-based e-invoice format that adds Japan-specific tax rules and identifiers on top of the common PINT model.

PINT JP covers:
- Standard Invoice and Self-Billing Invoice transactions
- A separate invoice variant for businesses not registered under Japan’s Qualified Invoice System
- Data elements aligned with Japan’s consumption tax rules
Like other PINT profiles, PINT JP is built from Common Content shared across all PINT jurisdictions, Aligned Content adapted to Japanese tax rules, and Distinct Content specific to Japan, such as its Qualified Invoice System requirements.
