Peppol and e-invoicing compliance by country
See where Qvalia can deliver your invoices internationally and where Qvalia meets each country’s rules for domestic invoicing. Qvalia is an OpenPeppol member and operates its Access Point and SMP under the Swedish Peppol Authority.
International and domestic invoicing
International invoicing
Peppol is an open network. An invoice sent through Qvalia reaches your customer’s Peppol Access Point wherever the customer is established, and their provider handles receipt in that country. You can invoice any customer registered on Peppol, including in countries where Qvalia holds no local accreditation.
Customers not on Peppol can receive invoices by EDI file transfer or as PDF by email. Check your business partners in the Peppol Directory.
Domestic invoicing
Invoices between two companies in the same country often follow national rules. Some countries use Peppol, others require a national platform or a registered service provider.
Qvalia must meet that requirement before it can issue or receive domestic invoices for you there. The table shows each country’s requirement and Qvalia’s status.
Receiving on Peppol
To register your company as a Peppol recipient in a country with its own Peppol Authority, Qvalia must be accredited in that country.
The Peppol accreditation column in the table shows where this applies.
Pays du réseau Peppol
Countries take part in the Peppol network at different levels. Some operate a national Peppol Authority, some host certified Service Providers, and others connect directly through OpenPeppol.
The Peppol network covers:
- EU and EEA countries, the UK and Switzerland, with national Peppol Authorities in most of them
- Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Singapore and Malaysia, each with a national Peppol Authority
- The Middle East, where the UAE and Oman have built their national e-invoicing mandates on Peppol
- Participants in North America and Africa registered through OpenPeppol or international identifiers
Qvalia status by country
Peppol accreditation shows whether Qvalia can register companies established in the country on Peppol. Domestic invoicing shows whether Qvalia meets the country’s own requirement for invoices between domestic companies.

Questions fréquemment posées
Can we send Peppol invoices to a country where Qvalia is not accredited?
Yes. The invoice is delivered to your customer’s Peppol Access Point, and their provider handles receipt in that country. Your customer must be registered on Peppol.
Can Qvalia register our company to receive Peppol invoices in another country?
Yes, where Qvalia is accredited. In a country with its own Peppol Authority, Qvalia must be accredited there to register your company as a recipient. The Peppol accreditation column shows where this applies.
Does Peppol accreditation make us compliant in every country?
No. Peppol accreditation covers Peppol delivery. Some countries also require a national platform or a registered provider for domestic invoices.
What if our customer is not on Peppol?
Qvalia can deliver the invoice by EDI or as a PDF by email. You can check whether a customer is registered in the Peppol Directory.
How often is this page updated?
